The Survivor season 47 finale began with just four players left before crowning a winner. Sam, Teeny, Rachel and Sue were the final 4 after Andy and Genevieve were voted out in the penultimate episode.

Who Won the Final 4 Immunity Challenge on ‘Survivor’ Season 47?

The final 4 had a lot to celebrate after Genevieve’s ousting at tribal council, but it was quickly time to get back into game mode on the Wednesday, December 18, episode. As Rachel pointed out, winning immunity was more important than ever.

The massive immunity challenge featured an obstacle course split into various stages. The players had to crawl under a muddy net, unweave a rope to release a ball that they had to throw to lower a gate, then collect letter tiles that they had to use to solve a combination lock. After unlocking the machete, they had to use it to unhook a ladder, which they had to climb and then solve a final puzzle.

Sam got to the bat puzzle first, followed by Rachel, then Sue and Teeny. After Rachel started pulling ahead, Sam jumped over to start copying her. Rachel thought she completed the puzzle, but it wasn’t correct, opening the door for someone else to win. On a second attempt, she completed the puzzle correctly and tied the female record for most immunity wins in one season (four).

Who Won the Fire-Making Challenge in ‘Survivor’ Season 47 Finale?

Rachel had to decide which player she would take with her to final tribal council and which two would have to make fire to earn their spot. It wasn’t a tough decision for Rachel — she was sending Sam and Teeny to fire. “Sue’s my girl,” she explained to the other players.

The biggest hope was getting Sam out since Rachel was worried he’d be the biggest remaining threat to beat her. Ahead of tribal, Rachel helped Teeny practice making fire to better her chances of winning the challenge. Meanwhile, Sue was shocked to see that Sam didn’t really have many fire-making skills and was actually struggling while practicing. Teeny was convinced that Sam was just pretending to not know what to do to get in her head, though.
