Pop star Taylor Swift has issued a stern warning to boyfriend Travis Kelce as she tries to rein him in following a shock bedroom confession.
The pop star was reportedly left upset when her American football player boyfriend exposed details of their intimate life while on a podcast. She managed to put it behind her and support Travis as his team Kansas City Chiefs qualified for the Super Bowl. However, Taylor barely waited for the AFC Championship Game to end before she issued a warning to Travis on the pitch.
She urged him to be on his best behaviour while he goes away to New Orleans for the Super Bowl, in reference to his past mistake. Travis was suspended from the Cincinnati Bearcats' football team in 2010 after a positive test of marijuana. The team was in New Orleans to face Florida Gators, yet he was forced to miss out after drug tests were performed.
It seems Taylor is keen for history not to repeat itself as she celebrated his Super Bowl qualification. While on the pitch, Travis told his mother Donna and Taylor: "Take me back to my old New Orleans home. I owe New Orleans a little something." However, Taylor quipped: "Yeah, no going to Bourbon Street."

He also said he won't be having any "hand grenades" while in the Louisiana city, which is a party drink made of vodka, rum, gin and melon liqueur. The sports star admitted his brother Jason helped him get straight when he failed his drugs test and considered giving up the game.
"I was down in New Orleans, listening to Lil' Wayne, and I wanted to smoke what he was smoking," Travis told Vanity Fair in 2023. "I'm just sitting there, dead in the water. I just wanted to get out of there. I was so embarrassed, I didn't want to look at anybody."
Taylor's plea comes just days after reports she felt embarrassed for Travis talking about their sex life. In an episode of the New Heights podcast, Travis and his brother, Jason, responded to a listener's question about handling a partner's disinterest in intimacy. Travis offered advice, including suggestions like lighting candles and visiting a nice restaurant.
He also recommended purchasing "sex stuff" from a store like Spencer's. According to Radar Online, Taylor was reportedly appalled by the remarks. An insider told the publication: "Word is, she was appalled by his comments She was already tiring of his potty mouth, and now this. There's no doubt it's caused major strain in the relationship. It's a terrible look for Taylor, whose brand is built on her being squeaky-clean and empowered."
They added: "The feeling is that Taylor needs to take a look at this guy and ask herself, is he worth staining your reputation and losing your incredible fans over?"
