Matty Healy, lead singer of The 1975, was recently seen enjoying a laidback afternoon with his fianc?e, American singer and model Gabbriette Bechtel, in Sydney. The couple appeared relaxed and happy as they strolled hand-in-hand, with Healy opting for a casual navy sweater, black pants, and simple dress shoes, carrying a coffee as they walked.

The two have been seen together at various public events since they began dating, including fashion shows and his concerts.

Bechtel, a California native, initially pursued ballet before finding her way into modeling, which took off after her appearance in a Blood Orange music video.

Though her modeling journey began with challenges, she has since collaborated with brands like Diesel and Marc Jacobs and was the lead vocalist for the punk rock band Nasty Cherry, created by Charli XCX in 2018.

Bechtel's dream

In a recent interview, Bechtel hinted at her dreams for the future, including potentially starting a family with Healy, sharing a glimpse into their life and plans together.

"I love being in love," she said.

"When I thought that I was in love before it was just me being a person of service to somebody else."

"When I have kids, it's going to be: dinner every night - no phones - to celebrate the smaller things and recognize people's happiness."

Taylor Swift and Healy first sparked dating rumors back in 2014 and briefly rekindled their connection in 2023.

However, reports indicate that their renewed relationship was short-lived, with the pair parting ways after just a month together.
