The political battle between Democratic candidate Kamala Harris and Republican candidate Donald Trump has been a major talking point for months, across the world.

And now, in the last few hours ahead of the final vote, Taylor Swift has urged fans to vote during one of her last shows of her Eras Tour.' Sharing a post to her legion of fans, she said she "couldn't have asked for a more magical way to end our US shows." But she didn't fail to jump on board the political train which will see either Donald Trump or Kamala Harris win the US election.

Taylor, 34, wrote: "Couldn’t have asked for a more magical way to end our US shows on The Eras Tour. Just had the time of my life with 207,000 beautiful people in Indianapolis who showered us with so much love and excitement and joy… " She continued: "I know I’ll be looking back on this weekend and smiling because it was just like a dreamscape, all of it. Thank you to everyone who came out to see us on our last 3 American shows!! And here’s a friendly but extremely important reminder that tomorrow is the US Election and your last chance to vote."

She then added: "There are only 9 shows left on The Eras Tour. I can’t believe we’re in single digits Next up: getting to finally see my beloved Canadian fans again!! See you for 6 shows in Toronto!" Taylor was left in an awkward encounter earlier this week after she watched boyfriend Travis Kelce's football team play against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

But she was close to player Patrick Mahomes' family, who are staunch Trump supporters, while Taylor has made no secret of her Democratic views. Patrick's mum Randi public supported Trump as she urged her followers to vote Republican. She wore a red "Make America Great Again" hat and said: "Make America Great Again! Let's do it! Wooooo!"

But it was not just Randi who has made her political views known, so too has Brittany Mahomes. Before the election, she posted about Trump's policies but her views caused uproar on social media. But it seems the Republican leader was left pleased with her stance as he applauded her efforts.

He said at the time: "I want to thank beautiful Brittany Mahomes for so strongly defending me, and the fact that MAGA is the greatest and most powerful Political Movement in the History of our now Failing Country." It had been reported that Taylor and Brittany's relationship was strained as fans saw them watching games in separate suites. But according to The US Sun, a source said: "Patrick and Brittany love to spend time with Travis and Taylor. They see them as the best people to be the godfather and godmother of the next child. The kids adore Travis and call him Uncle Travis."
