It's almost that time when we will be dressing up in sequin dresses and Christmas jumpers as we enjoy celebrations over the festive season.
Whether it's a work party, Christmas day or New Year's Eve, many of us may be on the hunt for a lovely new outfit fit for the occasion. As many will be spending money on Christmas Day feasts and presents for loved ones, the thought of buying ourselves a fancy ensemble might be a stretch. Thankfully, there are some great affordable options out there which means you don't have to fork out a fortune for a new frock or novelty shirt.
Tesco is already ahead of the game, according to fans who are applauding F&F's stunning Christmas party range this year - there's plenty of elegant sequin pieces. Shoppers insist people "run, don't walk" if they want to get their hands on it; they expect it will sell fast.
"Elevate your Christmas party attire with brand new styles - shop in stores now," Tesco said.
As part of Abbey Clancy's range with the supermarket fashion brand, shoppers can get their hands on a White Sequin Jacket, priced at £29.50. The statement piece, which looks expensive, has thousands of sparkly sequins and tied together with cream bows.
For those wanting to go all out with their sequin look, there is a long-sleeved, gold mini dress, described as "dreamy" by one commenter on Tesco's F&F Instagram page. It is priced at £35.
If you're looking for a perfect top to match with jeans or trousers there is also an Ivory Sequin Bow Cami in the range, priced at £19.50. Similarly you can get your hands on a high neck ivory top with a black bow tie at the back for £35.
You can never go wrong with a classic little black dress - and the range includes a stunning black sequin number. The dress is priced at £25. It has a high neckline, short sleeves and a tie back.
To finish off the look there are two faux fur coasts included in the collection for £55 - it comes in cream or black. There's also the cream satin slip skirt, which F&F fans can get their hands on for just £19.50, and the cream knit jumper, which costs £22.50. The range is available in sizes 6 to 22.
TikTok user Amrit recently shared a video showing off the pieces on offer and said she was "really impressed". She said: "This is the main reason I go to Tesco. Their new in stuff is so nice. Starting with the sequin dresses - they would be perfect for a Christmas party."
Amrit also spotted a "lovely" burgundy jumper, a satin shirt with sequin embellishments for £25 and matching trousers for the same price. "Loads of Christmas party inspo and even New Year's too," she added. She was also impressed by the pyjama sets on offer for the whole family.
"Lovely stuff," one individual commented on her video. "I'm obsessed with Tesco at the moment," said another. "I went in for toothpaste and spent £200," said another Tesco fan.
