Bradley Will Simpson is hoping fans are able to "navigate" as he shares a previously unseen side of himself.

The musician, 29, who found fame as the frontman of The Vamps, delivering hits such as Can We Dance, Married In Vegas and Just My Type but ten years after their debut, he's going it alone. While the quartet consisting of Brad, Connor Ball, James Brittain-McVey and Tristan Evans have not split up – Bradley is preparing for the release of his debut solo album, The Panic Years.

Having performed across the world in venues such as Wembley Stadium, supporting Taylor Swift and collaborating with Shawn Mendes and Demi Lovato, Brad is now channelling his energy into becoming one of the most exciting musicians to burst out of the UK.

Currently, he is preparing to finish his sold-out headline tour across Europe, where he's performed to thousands of fans in cities from Barcelona before two shows at London's Village Underground. As a soloist, Brad has already treated fans to singles including Cry At The Moon and Always Like This.

Now, he promises to deliver even more indie-rock and Americana inspired bangers on The Panic Years, which is scheduled to be released on February 28, 2025. Bradley, from Sutton Coldfield, West Mids has been relatively private about his life away from the music industry but that is set to change.

His new record explores his personal life in greater deal, discussing topics such as love, lust and learning along with rite-of-passage moments. Bradley said: "I hope these songs and stories can help them navigate those experiences. They can become the soundtrack to their lives, whether they're dancing, crying, going out or whatever it is. It really feels like an opportunity to let them into a side of my life that I haven’t shared before."

The lead track, Holy Grail demonstrates Brad's decade in the music industry with his powerful vocals and captivating storytelling with his lyrics. Despite the track giving off a level of intimacy as though you're relaxing in a quiet jazz bar, the song soon descends into a deeper level as he opens up about a loved one, exploring both the good and bad times with that one person.

The Panic Years will explore topics including lust, love and learning

Originally written in London with Ina Wroldsen, who has worked with Calvin Harris, Bradley later jetted out to New York's Flux Studios, working with Grammy nominated BOOTS, who has previously worked on Beyoncé's fifth self-titled album. "Holy Grail is a song about realising that going through ups and downs with someone you love makes it worth it," he commented.

He added: "I spoke about that with my friend Ina, who is an incredible songwriter, and then wrote it around an electric guitar before I recorded anything. Later, BOOTS and I tracked live drums, and I wrote the outro in the studio. It was one of the harder ones on the album to finish because it felt quite delicate and anything we added really needed to earn its place in the production."

Although he has a string of big recording studios on his door step, the vast majority of The Panic Years started in Bradley's at-home studio. This transcends across the record, despite working with huge collaborators at Flux Studios. But the album isn't the only news from Simpson.
