Though Taylor Swift's critically acclaimed Eras Tour wrapped last month, this concert was one Swifties won't soon forget — especially those who went multiple times.
One dedicated Swiftie — comedian Nikki Glaser — revealed she went quite a few times; 22, to be exact. In an interview with People published on Thursday, December 19, the F-Boy Island host detailed attending the Eras Tour multiple times over the course of its nearly two-year run. The 40-year-old comedian estimated that she spent "close to $100,000" seeing all of these shows.
"I want to be clear that we're including travel expenses, hotels, and me also flying and putting up everyone that I would invite to go with me, plus tickets, plus merch," Glaser said.
While this may have been a hefty price tag, Glaser has no regrets about shelling out this much cash, saying her experience was "all well worth it." She even said she "would've paid even more."
Glaser's money made for a good portion of the "Fortnight" hitmaker's earnings for the Eras Tour. According to a report from the New York Times, Swift grossed a record-breaking $2,077,618,725 over the course of the worldwide tour's duration.
In the same interview with People, Glaser said "I love that it was down to the dollar, and I could see my own money in that number and be like, 'Yeah, there it is.'"
Glaser — who is currently dating Chris Convy — also explained why she felt comfortable spending that much.
"I justify that cost because I don't have kids, and it's something that I consciously decided not to do, and it was something that I struggled with," she said. "It wasn't the easiest decision. There was a part of me that was like, 'I would like kids,' but it just doesn't fit in my life. And so in order for me to make myself feel better about the decision, I did look up how much it cost to raise a kid. And so once I saw that number, I thought, 'It's no problem for me to spend this on Taylor Swift.'"
Glaser is currently nominated for Best Stand-Up Comedy Performance for her HBO comedy special Someday You'll Die. She will also host the awards show, set to broadcast on Sunday, January 5, 2025.
