Tom Sandoval Teases ‘Awesome’ Traitors Season 3: ‘Dolores Catania Is Pretty Awesome’

Tom Sandoval is a misfit on his Bravo series. Yet, his awful antics opened several new doors, like The Traitors, where he just filmed for Season 3. His new costars have lived equally messy lives, presenting as either Traitors or Faithfuls in their respective series. Speaking of loyal humans, Tom enjoyed getting to know Dolores Catania during filming. She “is pretty awesome,” he accurately noted, as I halfheartedly applauded Dolores for potentially giving one of her messiest costars a break (again).

But now I am curious: Was Dolores playing a part, or is she just that kind to everyone on her various sets?

Tom and Dolores have one thing in common: their shows are equally toxic and frustrating for their viewers. I usually hate-watch Vanderpump Rules and Real Housewives of New Jersey, but I will admit that Tom plays an excellent Traitor on VPR. And Dolores makes for the perfect Faithful on RHONJ, so their casting on The Traitors makes sense.  

I have no idea how either will fare, however. While speaking to PEOPLE, Tom did not give us any hints about their longevity, but he did admit that their filming schedule “was so intense.” Thankfully, it was also “awesome.”

He loves this word. And kilts. And his girlfriend, Victoria Lee Robinson. She took him vintage shopping [at the] last minute,” helping to style her man for his latest venture in the Scottish Highlands.

As for the rest of his soon-to-air styles, Tom “met a guy last minute in like a parking lot. He was like a kilt maker, in a parking lot,” he repetitively explained. He also brought along a kilt or two of his own for filming.

When asked about his interactions with his newest costars, Tom gushed, “Dolores is pretty awesome.” Sadly, he could not give us any further tea. Just like his former assistant, Tom signed an NDA.

The Traitors returns to Peacock on January 9.
