Legendary comedian Tommy Cannon has joined in the fun after he saw Gary Barlow's son Daniel go viral for his height.
The '90s icon offered up an image of himself with his youngest son Luke, who towers above him as he asked Gary: "@GaryBarlow Can I join the giant son club?" Tommy, 86, is 5ft11" himself but Luke, 28, is an impressive 6ft6".
Tommy shared the post on X after Daniel attracted a flurry of attention when internet users spotted the size difference between him and dad Gary. The Take That star stands at just 5ft7" tall, while Daniel is 6ft2".
Luke - whose mum is Tommy's second wife Hazel - then shared a photo of his own as he wrote: "This is overwhelming how much my tallness has taken! Thank you for the follows and likes, guess being 6ft6 has its perks! Sorry dad @TheTommyCannon." He then shared a further image proudly standing alongside his famous father and wrote: "Another picture to clarify how tall I actually am @TheTommyCannon #TallSonClub #CannonandTall."

Instagram)Take That star Gary stunned his fans when he shared a photo posing alongside his Dawn Andrews, Daniel and their daughters Emily, 22, and Daisy, 15, this week. The student appeared to tower above the rest of his family at his wonderful height. Gary recently admitted another big difference between him and Daniel and his daughters - they seem to have no interest in following in his footsteps.
He previously told the Mirror : "The two oldest ones, Daniel and Emily, have kind of gone into medicine and physiology – studying strength and conditioning – and my youngest one, Daisy, I’m not too sure what she’s heading for but again, she’s very studious… unlike me and my wife. I don’t think they will follow in my music footsteps but I wouldn’t have discouraged them though if they did want to, it’s been a good business for me. Every day I still enjoy what I do and when you realise you’re making a living from it, it’s a great, great place to be."
Gary discussed his kids while promoting his TV show Gary Barlow's Wine Tour: South Africa, which sees the star travel around South Africa in search of the perfect drop. The five-parter takes the musician on an unforgettable trip visiting the country’s famous vineyards. He starts off in the Western Cape, where he learns about the variety of grapes in the region, their sustainability, and which dishes pair perfectly with each wine.
It’s been a busy year for Gary, who, as well as filming this new ITV series, has also been juggling the demands of a world tour with his Take That pals Mark Owen and Howard Donald this autumn. “Thankfully, I filmed this before the tour started,” says Gary. “When I was out in South Africa, during the days when I was travelling for three hours, I’d be listening to my tapes and things, so I knew what I was doing [on tour]. It’s on my mind a lot when we’re about to start one.”
