TOWIE-famous nightclub the Sugar Hut is on the market for a staggering amount and it could return completely transformed.
The Brentwood venue was once frequented by the likes of Mark Wright, Joey Essex and Gemma Collins and was a regular fixture on the ITVBe reality TV show TOWIE since its 2010 launch. It was later owned by their late co-star Mick Norcross.
Now the nightclub, which was also famous for its glamorous hosts the Sugar Hut Honeys, is up for grabs for a cool £3.85million, after it was put up for sale back in 2019, two years before Mick's tragic death at the age of 57.
According to its listing, the 13,225 square feet space is being sold with vacant possession, allowing potential buyers to transform it into a different use - which could mean the venue may return as an entirely different business, worlds away from Essex night life.

Formerly a public house, the property, which is Grade II* Listed, has been reconfigured to trade as a nightclub and restaurant on the ground and first floors with ancillary offices and staff accommodation on the second floor. At ground level there is an attractive galleried courtyard providing outside space."
The estate agent also added: "The Sugar Hut's licensing which remains in place could be an added incentive for potential buyers looking to continue its legacy as a hospitality venue."
As mentioned, Mick Norcross sold The Sugar Hut in 2019, prompting the venue's new owners, who hadn't been named, to close the club down for three months in order to refurbish it.
Shortly after Mick's death, the club's Twitter account featured a tribute to the former TOWIE star: "So sad to hear the news today of the passing of Mr Sugarhut @micky_norcross A very talented, friendly and fun guy, who made a huge mark on Brentwood. A true Essex legend who will be sorely missed, our condolences to his family and friends at this sad time. RIP Mick."
Though it was never known when Mick opened the nightclub, The Sugar Hut shot to fame on TOWIE in 2010. But by 2013, Mick admitted he no longer wanted his venue to be associated to the reality programme.
Sharing his frustration with The Sun, he'd said at the time: "My club is an upmarket venue where people come to drink champagne and feel spoiled. All these rows they keep filming don't show the club in a good light and I'm worried it's putting off people coming, which is the last thing I want."
In more recent news, in 2023, Bad Education actor Jack Whitehall told The Mirror he had spoiled his co-star on the BBC show Charlie Wernham with a lavish night in the Sugar Hut's VIP area.
