Travis Kelce is seriously raising some eyebrows – and this time, it's not for his relationship with Taylor Swift.
The 35-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end sparked speculation about his future during the Wednesday, December 18 episode of his New Heights podcast.
Reflecting on the Chiefs' win over the Cleveland Browns, he hinted that the game might have been his last in his hometown. Travis shared his emotions with his brother and co-host, Jason Kelce, as he described the special connection he felt to Cleveland, where he and his brother grew up.
"I just love that city, man. It was so fun," Travis said to Jason, 37. "When we flew in, I felt like a tour guide. I was telling everybody every single city that we were going past, every monument, every building."
He added that he had vivid memories of his time in the city growing up. "Silly memories ... were going in and out of my mind. And it felt so surreal," the athlete said, before mentioning his future. "I don't know if it's the last time I'll ever play in Cleveland, but it kinda felt like I was just giving it one last hurrah before I'm done because I've only played there twice in 12 years."
Travis has been playing for the NFL for 12 seasons, all with the Chiefs. His career has been marked by numerous accolades, including a Super Bowl MVP and three Super Bowl rings, with hopes of adding a fourth in the 2025 season. Jason retired from the NFL after 13 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Despite not confirming his retirement plans, Travis's comments about the game took on a nostalgic tone. He said unless his team "get thrown down there" within the next few years, he doesn't see himself playing there again.
While Swift wasn't in attendance at the away game, the couple privately celebrated her 35th birthday right before – with Travis reportedly going all out. According to a Page Six source, the duo celebrated "just them two," and that Travis "got her a ton of gifts."
Meanwhile, the 14-time Grammy winner is off the heels of her worldwide Eras Tour, which wrapped on December 8 in Vancouver. The tour lasted for over two years and included 149 shows – 14 of which Travis attended.
