Travis Kelce's dad, Ed, has been showered with love in the form of friendship bracelets at one of Taylor Swift's concerts in Toronto.
The father of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end was spotted at the pop superstar's sixth and final show in Toronto during her record-breaking Eras Tour tour on November 23. This marks the second-to-last Canadian city on Swift's schedule, with Vancouver next before the tour wraps up its epic run on December 8.
The older Kelce watched the concert from a VIP section at Rogers Centre, where he was spotted "drowning in bracelets" before the show had even started. It has become commonplace at Swift concerts for fans, known as Swifties, to swap friendship bracelets with each other; the trend was inspired by lyrics in the singer's track "You're on Your Own, Kid" from the Midnights album.
Now a video of Ed Kelce being given an abundance of bracelets from Swifties in the audience has gone viral on TikTok. Newsweek emailed a spokesperson for Travis Kelce for comment on Monday outside of normal business hours.
"Ed learning the tricky art of friendship bracelet trading," TikTok user @carliecam captioned the snippet she posted to the video-sharing platform. At the time of writing, it had been viewed more than 513,000 times.
In the clip, Ed Kelce, wearing a gray button-up shirt and matching blazer, is struggling to take off one of the friendship bracelets on his wrist so he can trade it with a fan. "Drowning in bracelets and the show hasn't even started," the text over the video reads.
The famous father wasn't alone in the VIP section, as he was joined by Swift's mom, Andrea Swift. A video posted to X (formerly Twitter) showed the two parents dancing to the pop star's song "Cruel Summer."
"ANDREA SWIFT DANCING TO CRUEL SUMMER," the caption of the video, posted by X user @tswiftvancity, reads. At the time of writing. it had more than 130,800 views.
Swift sent fans into a frenzy after paying tribute to her NFL star boyfriend during her Eras Tour show at the Toronto Rogers Centre on November 16. While performing "Midnight Rain" off her Midnights album, Swift paid tribute to Travis Kelce by using one of his dance moves during an improvised portion of the song.
Swift sported a huge grin on her face while she pulled a move that looked reminiscent of a dance from the "Born to Hand Jive" scene from Grease. It also happened to mimic a move that Travis Kelce had famously done while Swift performed "Karma" at one of her Wembley Stadium shows in June—the very same concert that later saw the New Heights podcaster onstage with her for "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart."
One Swiftie took to X to show the clips of Swift and Travis Kelce dancing side-by-side to highlight how similar the moves were, and how likely the choice was a tribute from Swift to her beau. "I LOVE THEM," she captioned the video, which has received more than 100,000 views.
This was the same concert that Zooey Deschanel was in attendance, with the actor going viral after she posted a video of herself in the audience while using audio from an episode of New Girl for the clip.
At the beginning of the video, the camera was on Deschanel's face while she played a snippet of her New Girl character Jess saying, "I just wanted to listen to Taylor Swift alone." Then, Deschanel panned across to the audience before showing Swift on stage singing her song "Lover."
This audio clip is from Season 2 of the hit sitcom after Jess broke up with her boyfriend Sam. This resulted in her crying in her apartment while listening to sad songs, including tracks from Swift.
