Future and Travis Scott build on their proven collaborative chemistry in the “South of France” remix, out today.
The original “South of France” appeared on Future’s Mixtape Pluto project, which gave the Freebandz founder the newfound distinction of being quite literally the only rap artist to secure three No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 in a six-month period. To put that in perspective, the last artists to have pulled that off were The Beatles, whose own trilogy of chart-toppers included 1966’s Rubber Soul.
For Future, the journey to charts history began with his and Metro Boomin’s We Don’t Trust You. Like its follow-up, We Still Don’t Trust You, the album debuted in the top spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
Scott is also enjoying another blockbuster year of his own, as his Circus Maximus tour was recently revealed to have set a ticket record for the rap tour market. Later this month, he'll be taking over ComplexCon in Las Vegas as this year's Artistic Director, thus giving fans the chance to step into the wold of CactusCon.
