TV star now 'trying' to 'fix teeth' after major weight loss transformation

1000-lb Best Friends star Vannessa Cross hasn’t only lost lbs. She’s working on getting new teeth, as well as skin removal, and the TLC star shocked fans in the process of her major transformation.

She started out wanting to be approved for weight loss surgery. Once that goal was ticked off, TLC‘s 1000-lb Best Friends star, Vannessa Cross, decided she was revamping her entire wardrobe.

Vannessa Cross is undergoing a major transformation. She looked for a new wig on 1000-lb Best Friends, and told cameras: “Now I’m not just this fat blob sitting in a chair. I have to define it and get to it.”

The TLC star then admitted to her hairdresser: “Physically, I’ve lost weight… My brain hasn’t.” She later said in a confessional, “I can’t wait for the day my brain catches up with my body.”

With her new hair, she hoped to look in the mirror and tell herself, “Honey, you are looking beautiful.” Vannessa has lost almost 300lbs – 273lbs, to be exact – since her weight loss journey began.

Makeover includes fixing teeth

Vannessa didn’t only get a new wig. She is working on fixing her teeth and having skin removal surgery, as shown in her Instagram photos, having said her main insecurity was her loose tummy and hips.

When a fan asked her what she’ll do about her teeth, she replied, “I’m trying hun, things take time.” Cross also admitted she now fits into her sister’s clothes again, with fans saying she’s “skinny.”

She underwent bariatric surgery, attended a support group, and changed her relationship with food, but the most important result of that is getting her confidence back!
