Tyrese Gibson was hit with a massive lien against his Georgia mansion filed by his ex-wife Samantha Gibson’s legal team, In Touch can exclusively report.

According to official records, The Gleklen Law Firm and attorney Adam Gleklen, who represent Samantha in her never-ending court battle with the Fast & Furious star, filed the lien on September 17.

The lien was filed against Tyrese’s seven-bedroom, 11-bathroom, 18,000 square-foot mansion in Atlanta, Georgia. The document said that the law firm claimed a lien in the amount of $217,231, plus interest, on and against the property owned by Tyrese, 45.

The lien said the debt stems from legal fees provided to Samantha that the court ordered Tyrese to pay. Tyrese and Samantha wed in 2017. The exes split in 2020. They share one daughter, Soraya, 5.

On September 9, days before the lien was filed, the actor was arrested during a court hearing over alleged unpaid child support. Tyrese was ordered to pay $10,000 a month in support to Samantha in April 2023. Samantha claimed Tyrese had been making payments of $2,200 despite the order for the five-figure monthly support.

At the hearing, the judge held him in contempt over his nonpayment and had Tyrese placed in handcuffs. He was removed from the courtroom by a bailiff. The court ordered the actor to cough up $73,525 to purge himself of contempt. The day before the hearing, Tyrese warned fans that he may be arrested. “Samantha’s lawyer Adam Gleklen and William Alexander who are besties with the judge Kevin M Farmer [ collusion ],” Tyrese wrote before deleting the post.

“We are APPEALLING [sic] ALL OF HIS RULINGS AND ALREADY HAVE TRIED TO GET THIS JUDGE THROWN OFF THE BENCH TWICE,” he said. “The second time we tried to get him recused from the bench. [ He actually denied his own request to be thrown off the bench] …imagine that???”

He continued, “It’s pretty clear that they hate my guts, but I must remind them and everything about my life and my success. I’ve worked my ass off since I was 14 years old to get here. #FamilyLawCourts are the WORST TOWARDS FATHERS.” Back in 2023, when he was ordered to pay the $10,000 a month, Tyrese argued that the amount was excessive and said his ex-wife did not need that much to care for their daughter. His team filed an appeal over the decision.

As In Touch first reported, Tyrese scored a win in his fight with his other ex-wife, Norma Mitchell. In August, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge dismissed Norma’s plea for a restraining order against after the actor over alleged online harassment. Norma failed to show up to the hearing and the court dismissed her petition. Norma filed a separate civil lawsuit against Tyrese over alleged false accusations he made about her on social media.

Norma claimed the actor made a series of posts that included “false accusations she has committed blackmail, extortion, death threats, tax evasion, forgery, bank fraud, wire fraud, and money laundering.”

Tyrese denied all allegations of wrongdoing. His attorney argued that, “[Norma’s] claims are barred, in whole or in part, because [Norma] suffered no damages as a result of the alleged wrongful conduct, or alternatively, any damages were not the legal result of any alleged conduct on the part of [Tyrese].” Further, he argued that if Norma did suffer any damages, such injury was caused by her own conduct.”

The lawsuit is ongoing.
