Victoria Derbyshire had admitted she would love to have another baby now if she could, as she reflected on her past pregnancies.
The Newsnight presenter is a mum-of-two to sons Ollie, 20, and Joe, 17, with her husband, journalist Mark Sandell, who she married in 2018.
Discussing life as a mother, Victoria admitted she loved being a mum to a newborn and insisted the feeling of broodiness has never left her.
"I feel like, obviously I can't now, I'm in my 50s and I haven't had a period since chemotherapy, [but] I feel like I could have a baby now, isn't that mad? I love being the mum of a newborn," she shared on the Happy Mum, Happy Baby podcast.

The 56-year-old made her admission as she reflected on falling pregnant and the births of her two sons.
Victoria said having her first son was "gorgeous" after she and Mark suffered a devastating miscarriage.
Over 20 years on, the 56-year-old admits she still thinks about what could've been, but has found some peace in talking to her sons about it.
She shared: "My boys know that I had that miscarriage and they fondly think, oh, what if it had been a sister?
"What if that, you know, what would have you have called her? They would've liked a sister."
Recalling the miscarriage happening while she was on a plane, Victoria added of her reaction: "I was just so sort of practical and pragmatic, it was like, well, this is happening now, and I'm going to work and I just sort of carried on."
Looking back, the journalist said she doesn't think she gave herself enough time to process her grief as she wanted to stay distracted, but has telling her sons about it "cathartic".
Despite her loss, Victoria said she surprisingly had no anxiety when she fell pregnant with Ollie as she was "just happy to be pregnant again".

"I was happy to go through the pregnancy, happy to eat loads of food and you know, put loads of weight on.
"I loved it, I loved it, yeah."
After 17 years of being together, Victoria and her spouse tied the knot in 2018 and was walked down the aisle by her sons.
Gushing over the moment, she urged those wanting to follow tradition and have kids after marriage, to do the opposite.
"It was stunning," she added. "And I can recommend having your own children at your wedding, I really mean that, they loved it.
"They took so much from it. They were a part of Mark's groom speech, it was just amazing."
