Warburtons, yes Warburtons, the creator of all things carbs and crumpets, is combining “fitness and flavour” with the launch of its debut athleisure range.

The bread brand known for stocking the shelves of UK supermarkets with pita breads, crumpets and bagels, has announced it's launching a ‘Snacktive Wear’ to inspire gymgoers as new year resolutions begin to dwindle.

Warburtons, which was established in 1876, is actively run by the fifth generation of the Warburton family. The company boasts 11 bakeries and 16 depots around Britain to deliver its product portfolio to 18,500 retail consumers every day   .

As January comes to a close and ‘new year, new me’ energy begins to faster than a week-old bagel, the bread baker is creating gym gear that doubles as a portable lunchbox. Why lift dumbbells when you can lift sandwiches?

The limited collection includes ‘Pitta Pockets’ leggings for on-the-go food storage and a ‘crumb-catcher’ hoodie that’s designed to be worn backwards so that the hood doubles as a crumb catcher.

The Crumb Catcher hoodie will be available in the first drop of the collection. Fans are invited to enter Warburtons's free ballot for a chance to win the exclusive merch here.
