After playing in college, some athletes then turn their sights toward the professional leagues. But for many collegiate athletes, they won't qualify to make the professional leagues.

For Washington Huskies linebacker Drew Fowler, it seems he won't be going to the NFL. The senior took to social media and declared that he would be entering the job market following his last year with the team.

"With that being said, I'm officially declaring for the job market. In other words, I need a job," read Fowler's post. "If you or anybody you know has an employment opportunity, I am your guy. Gritty, hardworking, sneaky athletic, locker room guy, will bring my lunch pail to work. My LinkedIn is updated, and I am #OpenToWork."

In addition to this hilarious post from Fowler, he penned a thank you to his Washington teammates, coaches, and everything who helped him throughout his career.

Fowler has been with the Huskies since his freshman year but only played in three seasons for the team. During that time, he registered 42 total tackles.

Before he committed to Washington, Fowler received a few other scholarship offers. Utah, UCLA, and Air Force were a few of those schools who offered Fowler but he committed to the Huskies.

The senior was part of the Washington team that went to the College Football Playoff championship game a year ago. Washington fell to the Michigan Wolverines but the Huskies were one of the best teams in all of college football a year ago.

The Huskies entered this season with much lower expectations due to a big part of their roster entering the NFL. Washington wasn't able to duplicate their success from the year prior and they finished the season with a record of 6-7, good for the ninth spot in the Big Ten conference.

One of the biggest moments from the season was a rematch against the Wolverines. Washington was able to take down Michigan and find some redemption for the program for the title game loss. While the rosters weren't anywhere close to the same, it was a special moment for this Huskies team.

Fowler will now enter into the working world but he does so in some real style.
