Wells Adams tom sandoval

Wells Adams had a hunch of what Tom Sandoval‘s role would be on The Traitors based on what Vanderpump Rules fans … and the world … saw that he was a real-life Traitor to Ariana Madix.

During an appearance on the Almost Famous podcast, Wells discussed meeting and getting to know Tom in the Scottish castle. “I don’t think I’d met him before.”

“It’s funny. He’s like a Housewife where he talks so much. You’re like, ‘Dude, does this ever stop? Is he ever gonna stop talking?’”

Wells admitted that Tom was committed to the game. “He was really wanting to figure out who the Traitors were.” Unfortunately for Tom, “He just wasn’t very good at it or isn’t very good at it now,” according to the Bachelor Nation fav.

The dirty stench of Scandoval followed Tom to Scotland:

Wells shares the same manager as the former Vanderpump Rules star. Also, he is “familiar” with Tom’s infamous affair. But, that’s the extent of his knowledge of Tom Sandoval.

Scandoval influenced Wells’ opinion of how the show would play out. He didn’t think producers wouldn’t allow Sandoval to be a Traitor. It would be too obvious after how he treated Ariana Madix.

Wells thought, “All right … if I’m producing this TV show, these are the people that I want to make Traitors. I remember thinking it would be way too on the nose to make America’s biggest villain a villain again.”

“That makes no sense,” he thought. “So, I remember being like, ‘I know you’re not a Traitor, dude.’”

Wells didn’t seem overly impressed with the lead singer of Tom Sandoval and the Most Extras. “Tom Sandoval was just kind of everything that you would expect Tom Sandoval to be.”

Except, “He didn’t cheat on anybody there,” joked Bachelor In Paradise‘s bartender.

Tom might not have cheated on anyone during The Traitors, but he was accused of cheating during a challenge …

Cheating Tom?!

Chanel Ayan called Sandoval out for cheating in one of the challenges.

“At one time, we were running around collecting gold,” explained the Real Housewives of Dubai alum. “He stole my gold. So, I was like, cheater. It didn’t air. Cheater!”

“He stole my gold because I was hitting this gold like hitting and hitting. And it fell and this tall man just went and ran and grabbed it. I was like, cheater! That was mine.”

Do you think Wells was correct in that picking Tom Sandoval as a Traitor would have been too obvious? Sound off below.
