In the ID documentary Chris Brown: A History of Violence, a few women have made claims against the R&B heartthrob—including one who alleges Brown raped her on a yacht in 2020.

“Even coming forward as a Jane Doe, some people still found out who I was,” the anonymous woman could be heard saying in the doc. “Coming forward with this now, I just hope I can shed light on what really happened.”

The unidentified woman claims that she met Brown after she was invited to Sean “Diddy” Combs’ yacht during a trip to Miami. While there, she alleged that she warmed up to Brown, whom she felt could “help” her or “guide” her with “advice.”

“We had talked and he had handed me a drink. I’m not even sure… this is when my memory starts getting a little bit weird,” she recalled of the alleged incident. “I don’t remember if I saw him pour it, but I just drank it and he just hands me another drink. As I’m standing there, I did start to feel tired and my body was feeling a little heavy.”

She then claimed that the “Sensational” singer brought her to a bedroom, where he allegedly “got on top of [her] and penetrated her. “I couldn’t move and I said ‘No’ and then I felt him… next thing I knew he was inside me,” she alleged, while adding that he “ejaculated inside her.” The Doe also alleged that Brown grabbed her phone and texted himself from it.

“Most girls I think would be happy… I didn’t want that,” she said. “This is not what I wanted.” The woman also claimed that she continued to speak to Brown, even after claiming she was “disgusted” by his alleged actions. She said that it wasn’t until she “went to therapy” that she realized that the alleged incident was sexual assault.

“I know it for a fact. Instead of telling myself that it wasn’t. It was. It was rape,” she claimed. In the doc, the woman claimed that legal representation reached out to her to pursue the alleged incident, but a judge ultimately dismissed the case “without prejudice” in 2022, according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE.

According to Rolling Stone, her lawyers also dropped her case when police discovered text messages between her and Brown after the alleged incident.

One of the Doe’s lawyers, Ariel Mitchell, stated to PEOPLE: “I adore my client and I believe what happened to her is 100 percent true. I feel that I failed her as an attorney because I couldn’t make her comfortable enough with me in such a short period of time where she felt 100 percent comfortable being forthcoming with me.”

Brown’s attorneys have vehemently denied any wrong doing on his part, and claims the Jane Doe is “completely fabricating” her story.
