The top trends for women's pubic hair grooming in the UK have been revealed.
According to sales data from a UK Laser Clinic, the Hollywood style which involves removing all hair was the most popular choice for visitors, accounting for nearly 70% of sales.
This is closely followed by the Brazilian or Landing strip style, and the classic Bikini line.
Further research involving 2,000 women found that 14% prefer a Bikini line style, 20% go for a gentle trim, while an equal percentage opt for the full 'Hollywood'.
The study, commissioned by Laser Clinics, discovered that over half of women feel more confident after a tidy-up down below, even if no one else is going to see it.
They were likely to work on their bikini lines for an upcoming holiday, or for better comfort. Yet, 12% do additional grooming if they are going on a night out and want to feel their best.
Statistics from OnePoll.com showed that an overwhelming majority (65%) of women choose to shave, while only 13% prefer waxing.
However, maintaining and grooming pubic hair does come with its downsides. As a third of women said the worst part about shaving is dealing with razor burn and ingrown hairs.
When it comes to styling choices; half of the women surveyed said their pubic hair style is based on their own preferences, but admitted they sometimes tailor it according to their partner's preference.
A small 6% even confessed that they are influenced by reality TV stars like those from Love Island.
The COO of Laser Clinics UK commented: "Everyone feels fresher and happier when they've just had a haircut and that applies downstairs as well as upstairs."
"But regularly shaving or waxing can lead to discomfort, which is why some women prefer to opt for something more permanent."
"Something like lasering means you can't as easily experiment with new styles if you fancy it, but if you'd rather it was just gone for good, it can be a really valuable choice for women."

- Hollywood (Complete removal of all hair in the pubic area).
- Trimmed (Hair is trimmed shorter but not shaped or removed).
- The Au Naturel (No trimming or shaving, embracing the hair's natural growth).
- Bikini Line (Only hair outside the edges of bikini bottoms is removed for a clean look).
- Triangle or Bermuda Triangle (A well-trimmed triangular shape, often just above the pubic bone).
- Landing Strip (Hair is trimmed down, leaving a vertical line or narrow strip).
