Katya Jones has defended Wynne Evans again as she refuses to stay quiet amid his Strictly scandal.

The opera singer and GoCompare advert star was kicked off the Strictly Come Dancing Live tour this week after he was caught making an inappropriate sexual comment. He confirmed he will "take some time out" from his BBC radio show and tour "to prioritise my wellbeing".

Katya, who was paired with Evans on the show and tour, has continued without him. However, since the revelations have come out about Evans she has made it clear where her loyalties lie. Katya broke her social media silence as she shared Evans' statement and added: "Let's show humanity and consideration. I will miss you my darling boy."

She later posted a photo of Evans on stage on the Strictly tour as she wrote: "Really missed this tonight." In a new update, Katya posted a defiant statement on her Instagram again. The 10 word message read: "Let him who is without sin cast the first stone." Katya has also managed to keep Evans with her on tour as she shared a photo from the latest performance.

The professional dancer posted a picture of herself in her dressing room as she got ready for the live show. On her mirror, Katya had placed a polaroid picture of Wynne following his exit.

Evans said in a statement: "I’ve agreed with the BBC that I’ll take some time out from my radio show and the Strictly Live tour, as well as my other public commitments, to prioritise my wellbeing. I am deeply sorry for the pain my inappropriate actions have caused, and plan to take this time for self-reflection.

"Apologies to those I won’t get to see at the remaining performances and I’m grateful to my fellow tour gang for all the amazing support they have given me." He was filmed making an inappropriate sexual comment to Strictly's Janette Manrara when she joined in a group photo at the tour's press call.

Evans was heard singing: "Go Compare," before adding: "Not too close to Jamie [Borthwick]." He then was heard using the demeaning term "spit roast" in reference to a lewd sexual act. Just minutes before his inappropriate remark, Evans had praised Katya to Mirror as he thanked her for "putting up with me".

While on Strictly, Katya showed her support to Evans when the pair came under fire for an "inside joke". Evans was caught on camera touching Katya's waist and slowing moving it across her stomach before she pushed him away. The pair have insisted it was banter, despite many fans being unconvinced.

Speaking on spin-off show It Takes Two, she said at the time: "Sorry Fleur [East], sorry, I will get onto dancing I promise but can I please first get something out of the way that I feel like overshadowed our performance for absolutely no reason and quite frankly, actually, I can't bare sitting here watching this man [Wynne] being portrayed as someone he's not.

"In fact, it couldn't be further away from the truth so I have to make this absolutely clear that this whole incident with the hand and the high five on Saturday night it was an inside joke between Wynne and I. Was it a silly joke? Yes! Was it a bad joke? Yes!"

Evans interjected: "Yeah and I've watched it back, I can see how people may have misinterpreted it." Katya added: "Yeah but however, it was a joke and even the idea that it made me feel 'uncomfortable' or 'offended' in anyway is total nonsense. Those that have doubts, you guys have it got wrong! So hopefully this will be the end of it. You [Wynne] just keep making me smile, please!"
