Two of the youngest victims of Wednesday’s American Airlines plane crash have been identified as figure skating duo Angela Yang and Sean Kay.
The skaters were part of The University of Delaware Figure Skating Club. They attended the 2025 Prevagen US Figure Skating Championships and National Development Camp in Wichita, Kansas in the days before the deadly collision. They passed away alongside their coach Alexandr “Sasha” Kirsanov and many others, the coach’s wife Natalia Gudin sadly confirmed to the Delaware News Journal on Thursday.

Just two months before their tragic and very untimely deaths, Angela and Sean hit the ice for what would become one of their very last performances. The stunning routine at the 2025 Midwestern Sectional US Ice Dance Final in November has now gone viral. They walked away with 1st-place medals for their time on the rink. Take a look:
