Did she say yes?! Zendaya just set the internet on fire by flaunting a huge ring on *that* finger at the 2025 Golden Globes. Naturally, fans are wondering: are she and longtime boyfriend Tom Holland engaged?
ICYMI, the Dune actress, 28, stunned on the red carpet on Sunday, January 5, in a custom Louis Vuitton gown paired with Bulgari jewelry. But all eyes were on her left hand, where a massive diamond ring had everyone buzzing. And she didn’t exactly deny the rumors, either!
According to The Los Angeles Times (via Us Weekly), “As Zendaya exited the ballroom, a recently engaged Times reporter held up her left ring finger and pointed at it. The actor responded by flashing her own bling on her left hand, doing a sort of jazz-fingers motion.”
When the reporter asked, “Are you engaged?” Zendaya reportedly “kept showing her ring, smiled coyly, and shrugged her shoulders mysteriously.” And that was all it took to send fans into a frenzy.
While Tom was absent from the event, he recently revealed why he avoids walking red carpets with his possible-fiancée. In a Men’s Health interview published in January 2025, he explained: “Because it’s not my moment, it’s her moment, and if we go together, it’s about us.”
Tom also shared a surprising take on his future career: “When I have kids, you will not see me in movies anymore,” he said. “Golf and dad. And I will just disappear off the face of the earth.”
His revelation comes after another recent podcast appearance with “The Dish,” where the Spider-Man actor also opened up about acting alongside Zendaya.
“Studios love it. One hotel room. Separate drivers. We’re not crazy now. Listen, it’s work, alright?” he joked. He added, “It’s just that perfect thing when you’re on set, and a director gives you a note you don’t agree with—or I know she doesn’t like—and it’s just that familiar glance, like, *can’t wait to talk about that later.*”
Zendaya seems just as happy working with Tom. In a November 2024 Vanity Fair profile, she said: “It’s like second nature, if anything. You feel extra safe with the person you’re acting beside. I love working with him. He’s so talented, and so passionate about what he does. He always gives things one thousand percent, even if he’s absolutely worn down. I really appreciate that about him.”
Whether they’re engaged or not, one thing’s clear: these two are total goals.
