Amanda Holden was reportedly branded 'annoying' and turned her husband's life 'upside down' after a recent incident in their family home.
Chatting to JK on this morning's (22 October) Heart Breakfast show the radio presenter admitted that she was to blame for causing chaos at home, whilst she was at work.
Explaining how the situation began, the 53-year-old said that she had taken her 12-year-old's phone off her in a bid to improve her behaviour. She said: "So, I took the phone and I hid it and I absolutely could not remember where I'd hit it and I was actually thinking, oh my gosh this is it, I'm starting to go downhill already."
But, as the presenter had been working in Rye, England, on a project with someone she described as 'very special', chaos ensued back at home: "All I was doing was getting calls from my husband and my daughter, who's off school. Chris (her husband) was saying 'look, I get the punishment but you've turned my life upside down'."

Hollie was breaking her heart, apparently I was called everything under the sun, but she denies it. And then she said 'well, you want to know what, daddy actually said that you were annoying'. And I went 'yeah, I'm sure he did' because you've been searching for it for eight hours."
After eventually locating the lost phone, she revealed it had been hidden away in her 'TV room' all along: "I've got a side table in there where I've got a really nice book on a display thing, and I had slid it into the triangle of the stand."
Amanda and her husband Chirs Hughes, who got married in 2008 have two daughters together, Alexa aged 18 and 12-year-old Hollie.
Amanda made her first appearance on Heart Radio in April 2019 when she took over presenting duties from former Spice Girl, Emma Bunton. Speaking of her delight at landing the role she said: "I've spent years in the car listening to Heart while travelling to work or doing the school run with my daughters. So it feels incredibly surreal to be announced as the new national Breakfast co-presenter alongside the fab Jamie Theakston."
