Amanda Holden's daughter Hollie has called out her mum for her topless sunbathing habits during family holidays. The 53 year old brought Hollie to the Heart FM Breakfast studio on December 18, hoping to earn some extra pocket money before Christmas.
However, things took a turn when co-host Jason 'JK' King decided to put Amanda in the hot seat. JK thought it would be interesting to get an insight into what life is like with the Britain's Got Talent judge as a mum, and asked Hollie about Amanda's "most embarrassing moment".
Recalling a family holiday in Greece post-pandemic, Amanda shared: "We were on holiday in Greece and I needed to get my nails done."
She continued: "We were in Corfu and it was the time people were still wearing masks so I lifted my mask down and I was saying to the lady, 'do you know anyone locally who could help me with my nails, I really need to get my nails done', and she started indicating [at] my face and I went 'yeah, yeah, I'm on Britain's Got Talent'.
"She went, 'no, put your mask on'. I nearly died but then I found it very funny. I got in the car and my husband dined out on that forever," reports the Daily Record.
Amanda found the misunderstanding hilarious, but admitted her husband Chris Hughes hasn't let her live it down.
JK joked that Chris is "still going" and even brought up the incident at Christmas drinks. But for Hollie, it was Amanda's sunbathing antics that prove to be more embarrassing.
Hollie revealed when quizzed on her mum's most embarrassing habit: "I put sunbathing topless. It's so annoying."
The conversation didn't stop there, as JK probed for more, asking what Amanda's "most annoying habit" is at home.
The radio star admitted: "I constantly have to take her phone off her and hide it. And constantly moaning about like, 'have you cleaned your teeth?', 'have you brushed your hair?', 'have you packed your school bag?' All the things that good mums do."
Hollie chimed in, agreeing with her mum and adding that she wrote "nagging" her to get off her phone. The mother-daughter duo also concurred on Amanda's worst kitchen fail, both pointing out badly decorated gingerbread biscuits which were meant to resemble their family.
Hollie is Amanda and Chris's youngest daughter, with the couple also being parents to eldest child, Lexi. Amanda and Chris, who started dating back in 2004, sealed the deal at the swanky Babington House in Somerset in 2008. The family of four, plus pooches Minnie and Rudie, reside in a plush £7 million Surrey pad.
