Hollywood star Armie Hammer has revealed he is making a comeback to movies, three years after a series of damaging allegations.
The Call Me By Your Name star, 38, was at the height of his fame when he was hit by a series of allegations by multiple women last year. He is attempting to rebuild his career and defend himself against the serious claims made against him, which he has denied.
Hammer has since shared photos from his latest film project, which marks his first since the controversy came to light. He is taking part in a Western film called Frontier Crucible and posed on a boulder with a script and cowboy hat on his head. The actor captioned the photos: "Back in the saddle."
The film also stars Thomas Jane and is being directed by Travis Mills. According to Deadline, it is an adaptation of Harry Whittington's 1961 western book Desert Stake-Out and will be set in the 1870s. Hammer is set to play one of the outlaws who tired to survive the western frontier.

Over the summer, Hammer was probed on the cannibal allegations by Piers Morgan during an appearance on the presenter's YouTube show. He declared: "You know what you have to do to be a cannibal? You have to have actually eaten somebody."
Hammer went on to unequivocally confirm that he had never eaten anyone. In the exchange on 'Piers Morgan Uncensored', the actor maintained that the accusations arose from agreed upon sexual acts and role play. However, he did admit to marking former girlfriend Paige Lorenze with a knife, but sturdy on the assertion that there "wasn't even blood".
Referring to Paige's allegation back in 2021 that while they dated for four months in 2020, he used a knife to etch an 'A' close to her private parts, he said: "I wouldn't say brand, no. There was a scenario that we talked about beforehand, that we had discussed where, you know, I would basically take a little, tiny point and just kind of trace the letter 'A' just like the tip of a small knife.
"I mean, there wasn't even blood in the situation. It was more like a scrape... It's along the lines of couples getting their own initials tattooed on each other."
