Bravo Reality Stars React to Presidential Election 2024

2 weeks ago 5

“The time has come,’ the Walrus said. To talk of many things…” Any presidential election gets people talking, but the 2024 election has people cheering, crying, and praying. I won’t bore you with my personal political views but I am sure you’ll get the idea. I’ve always believed that, as Americans, voting is our right, and we are allowed to exercise that right. But in the voice of Ms. Piggy, “Beauty (or in this case, voting) is in the eye of the beholder, and it may be necessary from time to time to give a stupid or misinformed beholder a black eye.” Even Bravo stars have their deep-rooted opinions, and a lot of them speak out.

Carole Radziwill made a prediction for the Presidential Election

Early into the wee hours of November 6, Carole Radziwill took to her Instagram Story to share some thoughts as Donald Trump was in the lead. Carole shared a 1950s clip from All About Eve. Anne Baxter asks, “Is it over, or is it just starting?” But Betty Davis, presumably Carole’s alter ego, swigs her dry martini and notes, “Fasten your seat belts. It’s going to be a bumpy night.”

Carole has been a staunch supporter of Kamala Harris and has worked tirelessly on her campaign. During election day, she took part in a phone chain. She and other volunteers connected with over 400,000 swing state voters in hopes of turning the tide. She even predicted “a huge win” for Kamala. That didn’t come to pass.

One thing is for sure: now that the election hasn’t gone Carole’s way, she won’t sit idly by and watch the world burn. She will make sure her voice is always heard.

RHOP’s Dr. Wendy Osefo is rallying her sorority sisters

The Real Housewives of Potomac star has done her best to volunteer for the Kamala Harris campaign. She even attended the DNC.

Dr. Wendy Osefo has actively encouraged her followers to vote and posted a photo of herself and Eddie Osefo. Both proudly wore “Hotties for Harris” t-shirts and showed their “I voted sticker.” At around midnight, the results came in for the District of Columbia and the state of Maryland. Both voted blue and chose Kamala as their winner. Wendy took her Instagram Story to share the news.

Along with a photo of the results, she added Beyoncé’s Freedom as the soundtrack. Unfortunately for Dr. Wendy, many parts of the country didn’t follow suit. But Wendy kept intervening with major stations regarding the “fear-mongering of the right.” Wendy is making sure to speak out throughout election day in hopes of seeing a brighter future.

Andy Cohen is voting for his daughter

Andy Cohen posted a photo of himself and his daughter Lucy on election day after leaving the polling station. He simply wrote, “I voted for Her, for her.” Andy has openly supported Kamala and never had any qualms explaining why. He wrote in a social media post, “I am voting for Kamala Harris because:

“I believe women should have jurisdiction over their bodies. As a gay American dad who had kids through IVF, the Supreme Court is on the ballot, and I don’t want it filled with (more) right-wing extremists who will take away my rights. I believe in sensible gun control. I believe in building the middle class and raising the minimum wage. She is mentally fit to serve as Commander in Chief and not too old for the job.”

Andy ended his post by adding, “America should never cozy up to dictators. She will be a President for all Americans. I believe January 6 was one of the darkest days in our history, the result of a weak man’s fragile ego.  I don’t want to go back!”

After Trump’s victory was declared, Andy took to socials once more and posed the question: “so the election ISN’T rigged????,” clearly jabbing at Trump’s unsubstantiated claims that there was a stolen election in 2020 when he lost to Joe Biden.

Dr. Jackie Walters makes her mission known

As fans of Married to Medicine know, Dr. Jackie Walters had a strong connection to the Democratic nominee. During Season 10, Jackie was able to sit down with the Vice President to talk about the maternal health crisis in the United States. Jackie has not wavered in her support for Kamala and worked tirelessly to help her win.

As election day unfolded, she posted information about voter registration, encouraged her followers to vote, and shared numbers for the election protection hotline.

Now, let me note. I did go to usually staunch Bravo Republican’s social media, but everything was quiet. Vicki Gunvalson didn’t share one story, and there was no post. I checked on Ramona Singer, and it was quiet. Perhaps we’ll hear more now from those Bravo stars now that the presidential election 2024 result is clear.
