Elon Musk Controversial Salute Image Beamed on Tesla Factory in Berlin

An image of Elon Musk's controversial salute has been beamed onto Tesla's Gigafactory in Berlin.

On Wednesday, two left-wing political activist groups, the UK-based Led By Donkeys and Germany's Zentrum für Politische Schönheit, which translates to The Center for Political Beauty, have claimed responsibility for the action on X, formerly Twitter.

The large image shows Musk giving the salute with the words "Heil Tesla" beamed above him.

Musk, the world's richest man and a close ally to Trump, was accused by many of twice making a Nazi gesture while speaking briefly to a crowd of Trump supporters gathered for an indoor "Presidential Parade" at Washington's Capital One Arena shortly after Trump was sworn in for his second term on Monday.

Musk has denied that the gesture was a Nazi salute.
