Anime is seasonal, which means that every few months, anime studios start releasing new seasons of anime. Some of these are brand-new releases, new series, and new seasons to old series — and of course there are continuing series, too, that run pretty much always. One Piece, for example, usually runs throughout the entire year, with only a few breaks here and there, though new episodes for that are currently on hiatus.
