Garth Brooks’ Big Loss Amid Sexual Assault Lawsuit

[Warning: Potentially Triggering Content]

Garth Brooks just took a huge L amid his legal drama…

As we previously reported, a former hairstylist/makeup artist sued the country music singer in October for allegedly sexually assaulting her, sending her explicit text messages, and exposing his genitals to her, among other things. The woman also allegedly accused him of trying to “hire someone to murder her.” What! The whole thing has been shocking to everyone — quite literally everyone! Even his enemies can’t believe it!

Garth denied the allegations, claiming this was all a scheme to get millions in “hush money” from him. He even countersued her for defamation, “false light invasion of privacy,” and “intentional infliction of emotional distress through outrageous conduct.” The 62-year-old singer also filed to dismiss the case on November 8. However, that is not happening — not right now, at least! The United States District Court in California temporarily denied his motion!

According to documents filed on Monday and reviewed by E! News, his dismissal request was “denied without prejudice” pending the outcome of the lawsuit against Jane Roe filed in Mississippi on September 13. That lawsuit is the one from Garth to try to stop the woman from going public with the claims in the first place. Per the outlet, the musician’s filing for an “in camera review” of documents to dismiss the lawsuit was also denied as “the court does not deem it necessary” to review the docs before issuing the final ruling.

At this time, Garth has not reacted to the court’s decision. He must not be too thrilled, though! Reactions, Perezcious readers? Let us know.
