Helen Flanagan's character Rosie Webster was last seen in Coronation Street in 2018, as she then took maternity leave, but could a return to the cobbles be overdue?
Talking at the Winter Wonderland launch event on Wednesday night, she revealed that she's keen to return to her role for a special episode, but teased that they would have to issue an invite first. "I'd absolutely love to, but they haven't invited me back - I suppose they'd need to ask me!" she told Express.co.uk.
Helen has mentioned that she has designs on Rosie returning with a wildchild persona and off-loading her kids onto long-suffering mum Sally (played by Sally Dynevor) while she goes out looking for mischief. However, her real-life personality couldn't be more different - and Helen and her nine-year-old daughter Matilda looked like they were nurturing a strong bond as they snuggled up to each other on the red carpet.
Her dad, footballer Scott Sinclair, is also inseparable from her. "She's a daddy's girl, she loves daddy. I'll go and get a hot chocolate and she'll go off for an hour with dad!" joked Helen.
As if on cue, Matilda then wandered off, leaving Helen rushing after her. The pair were looking forward to an evening of festive food and attractions and perhaps sampling some of the legendary rides that Winter Wonderland, now in its 17th year of operation, has to offer.
Although Helen is often seen in plunging gowns, she was wrapped up warmly in a long padded jacket for the event as she protected herself from the bitterly cold temperatures.
The previous day, a covering of snow had blanketed London, making for the ultimate festive atmosphere - and although Helen might be more accustomed to the cold as a Manchester girl, she was opting to stay as warm as she could.
It was a wise choice, as temperatures turned out to be several degrees cooler than might be expected for a November evening.
This year's event features a huge house adorned with more than 100,000 festive lights, and a haunted mansion ride that's already proving hugely popular.
Then there's the usual mixture of festive food stalls, shops and Christmas themed bars which have given Winter Wonderland its strong reputation.
Among the other celebrities who made an appearance at yesterday's VIP launch were Stacey Solomon, Rebekah Vardy and Vernon Kay.
Vanessa Feltz also spoke to the Express, revealing that she's on the lookout for a "Prince Charming" after ending a 17-year relationship with ex Ben Ofoedu in 2023.
Despite a stint on Celebs Go Dating, Vanessa's still looking for the ideal man - but might she have found him at Winter Wonderland?
