Here’s How Sutton Stracke Can Bring the RHOBH Cast Back Together

2 weeks ago 3

Sutton Stracke is incredibly calming once you get past her tightly wound persona. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has brought a sense of calm over the last few seasons. And even though she often finds herself in the drama, I don’t get the impression she enjoys it one bit. The turmoil frequently knocks Sutton off her feet, and with Season 14 looking dark, we will need the Georgia peach more than ever.

RHOBH Season 14 will be tense

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills glammed it up in their Old Hollywood promotion looks. But I think most of these women will lack manners that once were abundant in Tinsel Town. Luckily, this is where Sutton steps in. In the trailer for Season 14, a scene shows Sutton trying her best to wash away the group’s negativity. We already know the new season will be a doozy for Sutton, who is “seeking approval from her mother while also looking to make her clothing business, The Sutton Concept, more sustainable.” It’s clear that Sutton is heading into Season 14 with a new sense of purpose, and that is to heal.

In the clip, Sutton brings a blue silk scarf to a ladies’ hangout. Sutton hoped to get on the same page and stop taking needless jabs at one another. I think the exercise was mainly directed toward Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley, who were seen arguing for almost the entire trailer. Sutton takes the ribbon and ties it around each woman’s hands to signify the unity they need to find. But Dorit isn’t feeling as she quips, “I really hope this ribbon does what Sutton’s intending … and if not, I can save it in case I need to strangle one of these ladies.”

Sutton Stracke is nothing if not honest

Sutton is the type of woman who says whatever comes to mind, which means viewers get the good, the bad, and the ugly. But honesty isn’t a trait you often see on reality TV. Ahead of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14, Sutton shared her thoughts with People. She told the outlet, |I think that it’s always great to be with a group of smart women and businesswomen. I’ve learned a lot from these women for the last five years, and I’ve kind of come into my own.” In my opinion, Sutton’s brute opinions and learning curves have often helped the group talk about some uncomfortable subjects.

She had to face accusations of being called a racist after telling Crystal Kung Minkoff she “didn’t see color.” The conversation was complicated, but the socialite did it on camera. More than a handful of times, Sutton also had to stand up for herself, showing some real gumption. I think by now, she has earned her stripes and the respect of the other women. Even though she might be a bit cooky and her techniques questionable, she only wants what is best for the group as a whole.

The ladies can learn a lesson or two from Sutton Stracke

In the trailer, even though Sutton is all about peace, she also shows that she won’t be walked over like a welcome mat. Sutton has often tried to keep her friendship with Kyle alive, but the trailer has her saying, “I’m not going to bow down at the altar of Kyle Richards.” I like the lesson here. Sutton doesn’t have to be mean to make her voice heard. It’s a dying art, really, especially when everyone is so used to going for the jugular. Sutton spoke with The Standard at Hayu’s FanFest, sharing, “It’s an interesting season because there’s only six housewives, so that makes us tighter.”

And I think this is how Sutton will help to bring the cast back together. The mother of two is all about genuine friendships. She even shared her excitement for one of the newbies, noting, “One of my best friends comes on, Jennifer Tilly, and she’s a friend of, but she’s so much more than a friend of, she’s quite a force in and of herself, and she’s really funny, and it’s fun for me to get to watch her meet all of the women and find her way through.” Sutton’s secret superpower is her ability to find the good in everyone she works with. Hopefully, a bit of her positive energy will also rub off on the rest of the women.
