I'm A Celeb 'in crisis talks' over GK Barry after controversial podcast episode

ITV bosses are reportedly having crisis talks about rumoured contestant GK Barry after she was criticised over a controversial podcast episode.

The 25-year-old influencer, real name Grace Keeling, is said to be set to be a part of the line-up for I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here. The TikTok star is reportedly heading into the jungle alongside the likes of Coleen Rooney, Love Island star Maura Higgins, former Strictly star Oti Mabuse, former boxing champion Barry McQuigan and Tulisa.

GK Barry has come under fire after inviting adult content creator Bonnie Blue onto her podcast, Saving Grace. Bonnie has claimed she slept with hundreds of "barely legal" men aged 18 and 19, reports the Mirror.

She has been touring universities during Freshers Week with the aim of sleeping with as many students as possible. She then posted her efforts to her OnlyFans account. After the episode aired, fans slammed GK for hosting Bonnie as they felt like the content was "harmful" to her young and "impressionable" fans.

One person said: "Her audience is 13-20 year old girls. Young and impressionable. This is not the message young girls should be hearing. We need to start de-platforming."

It's been said that I'm A Celeb are suffering a 'PR nightmare' due to the backlash. "I'm A Celeb is a family show and they can't have anyone on there who agrees with sleeping with barely 18 years olds," a source claimed to The Sun.

"The top brass have held crisis talks as to how they handle the backlash with GK enters the show. GK has deleted the video but the furore hasn't gone away."

Content creator Bonnie has been incredibly open about her experiences, which include sleeping with a father and son. She said on GK Barry's episode: "When the son first saw me with his dad, I thought he was going to tell me off but he wasn't, he was jealous and wanted to join in."

To promote the show, GK had posted clips of the episode but has now taken them down following the backlash she received. One social media user said: "Now she has deleted the videos from the Saving Grace TikTok account without even acknowledging the damage she has done... I am so so disappointed in her." Daily Star have reached out to ITV for comment.
