Earlier this year, insiders dished that George Clooney and Amal Clooney will be facing a major lifestyle change for six months, making their romance into a long-distance one. And now, different insiders are alleging that it’s already negatively affecting their marriage.
In case you missed it, insiders told Life and Style Magazine, “George has never done Broadway before, and he’s thrilled about the opportunity, but between rehearsals and performances, it means he will spend six months in NYC. Amal is going to remain in France, where their two children are settled in — and there’s no denying this is going to test their 10-year marriage.” Because of this, they’ve been planning Skype dates and occasional flights out. However, it’s allegedly not going well.

Inside sources now told Knewz on Feb 1 that this temporary change has allegedly put a wrench in their rekindling plans.
“Their marriage has been strained for years and this move just shows the true landscape of their relationship,” they said to the outlet. They are trying to work at it they are and telling friends they are as strong as ever but the one thing they are not lavishing on one another is time.”
“Last year, they really committed to rekindling their connection and turning their attention back to their relationship. They’ve even started having some virtual dates over Zoom, ensuring they still have quality time to catch up and discuss more than just the children and their busy lives. But it is not the same as having the person in the same room. It is all show,” they added.
