Is This the Absolute Best Vogue Mexico Could’ve Done with Angelina Jolie?

3 hours ago 1

You will never EVER hear us complaining over the sight of Angelina Jolie here at theFashionSpot. Whether she is commanding our attention as the face of Tom Ford Beauty, oozing old-Hollywood glamour on major red carpets across the globe, or showing us her wild side via the covers of CR Fashion Book – we stan the American actress, filmmaker, and humanitarian hard. Ahead of the release of Netflix’s “Maria” on December 11 (in the US), Angelina Jolie appears on the cover of Vogue Mexico for December 2024. Complete with styling from Stella Greenspan, Jolie gazes down the lens of photographer Dan Martensen in a little black Christian Dior dress.

Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:

“Not good,” voiced caioherrero the moment the cover dropped.

“She looks really sad here, like she got the worst possible news just before she walked on set,” noted a disappointed URIAH.

Also not exactly best impressed was forum member kokobombon. “This looks so low budget,” they called out.

“These look like outtakes. It takes skill to make Angelina Jolie look this bad,” shrieked Hchloe.

“That’s quite an unflattering shot of Angelina Jolie. Not her best angle. That being said, I like the coloring and the simplicity of it all,” shared vogue28.

“What I like about the cover and all of the photographs of Jolie is how real they look,” MModa appreciated.

Ivano also liked what they saw, commenting: “I love the idea of Angelina Jolie as a cover star. Her face at least wasn’t retouched in such a way magazines do!”
