Jeffrey Archer moans that he can no longer grab a Swift pint at his local pub because of music megastar Taylor.
The former Tory cabinet minister griped about not being able to get into boozer The Black Dog after it was swamped by Swifties. Fans have flocked to the bar since Taylor sang about it on her Tortured Poets Department album.
The Shake It Off singer wrote track The Black Dog about her actor ex Joe Alwyn’s favourite watering hole in Vauxhall, South London. And now author Lord Archer, 84, is miffed with Swift for ruining his daily lunch routine.

“And so I went one morning innocently down to The Black Dog to see 200 girls outside taking photographs, another 200 inside. And if only Swifty had said, ‘It’s the pub where my favourite author sits in the corner’, I’d have been grateful.”
Since the album’s release in April, obsessed fans have filled the award-winning spot. And pub bosses have leaned in to the craze by offering Swift-themed food and drinks.

The Black Dog)Lord Archer’s comment came as he promoted his latest book, An Eye for an Eye, and admitted to cheekily boosting his work’s visibility during his early author days.
Asked if he ever moved his novels to the front in bookshops, he told BBC Radio London: “Of course. I don’t have to any longer.” Taylor, 34, kicked off the final leg of her record-breaking Eras Tour in Miami, Florida, on Friday.
Last week, it was claimed the Labour Party pressured police into giving her a VIP blue-light escort while in London over t he summer. PM Keir Starmer met her at one of her gigs days after the decision was taken to grant her VIP treatment.
