It looks like Melissa Gorga is staying busy while The Real Housewives of New Jersey is on hiatus. The Bravo star and her husband just linked up with the cast of Jersey Shore, and the cameras were rolling! The long-awaited East Coast crossover might finally be happening.

We can thank TMZ for getting the scoop on this Bravo and MTV mashup. The cast of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation was filming in TAO nightclub in New York City when all of a sudden, Melissa and Joe Gorga popped up.
The MTV cameras rolled as the Gorgas chopped it up with Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi in the middle of the club. They filmed a scene together, and Melissa high-fived Snooki before they parted ways. Joe gave her a little kiss, and apparently, Danielle Cabral was in the room somewhere, too.
For those of us who have been obsessed with these New Jersians for over a decade, this mashup has been a long time coming. Snooki has been close with some of the RHONJ cast, but Andy Cohen made it very clear she’d never have a spot on their show. He said it would be like putting “Mickey Mouse in a Bugs Bunny cartoon.”
Since that was a dead end, we’re glad to see that the Bravo stars making a cameo on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. However, we’re not totally sure when we’ll actually see this on our screens. We assume will be featured in Season 8 of the MTV show, but there’s no release date announced just yet.
In the meantime, Season 7 of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation continues with new episodes on MTV, Thursdays at 8/7c.
