Jessel Taank revealed that filming for season 15 of Real Housewives of New York was cut short after an altercation within the reboot cast.
At Hayu’s FanFest in London, Jessel and RHOBH’s Sutton Stracke were on a panel together, teasing their shows. The popular personality from RHONY‘s reboot spilled major tea about the season that’s currently airing.
A cast quarrel got too heated:
“Our season that is currently airing … we actually had to cut filming short. Someone got put on a plane and someone got shipped to a hotel.”
Stunned, Sutton asked, “What do you mean, ‘shipped?'”
Jessel explained, “We had to separate and then they couldn’t film anymore.”

- mention it all
- RHONY trying to recreate scary island 😂😂 girl bye it was cut short bc it’s BORING
- I just knew it would involve Brynn
- Well I’m assuming it’s Brynn and Uba
- Sound like Brynn BUT I HOPE NOT 😬
Let’s talk about the Ubah and Brynn speculation:
ICYMI, Brynn received backlash for calling her co-star “an angry black woman” during last week’s episode. Brynn blamed the edit for not giving “context.” So, she wrote a lengthy Instagram post explaining her side of the story.
“To see my intentions twisted and my words misrepresented, flat out scares me,” she noted. She went on to claim the episode was edited to make it appear she brought up the “angry black woman” stereotype on her own, which she said was not the case.
Brynn’s statement:
Could this be the catalyst for the current RHONY season being cut short?
“To see my intentions twisted and my words misrepresented, flat out scares me,” began Brynn. She gave context to her comment. “The truth is, ‘angry Black woman’ was brought up by Ubah last year in Anguilla.”
Here’s her full statement.
