Katie Holmes is feeling thankful as she rings in her 46th birthday with the help of her daughter, Suri Cruise.
The “Dawson’s Creek” alum took to her Instagram Story Wednesday to share the birthday wishes and presents she received, including a bouquet of purple roses from her 18-year-old look-alike.
“I am so grateful for all of my blessings 💕 especially my daughter 🌷,” Holmes wrote atop the photo.
It’s no secret that Holmes and her daughter have a close bond. The actress raised Suri after she and Tom Cruise divorced in 2012 following six years of marriage.
In 2019, Holmes said she felt that she and Suri “kind of grew up together.”
Tom, 62, was last seen with his daughter during a trip to Disney World in 2012, and Page Six confirmed earlier this year that the pair has been estranged.
Suri, who is a freshman at Pittsburgh’s Carnegie Mellon University, is frequently seen spending time with her famous mother in New York City.
Holmes was by Suri’s side as she graduated from LaGuardia High School in June and then helped her move into her college dorm two months later.
While reflecting on the milestone in Suri’s life, the actress told Town & Country that she is “really proud” of her daughter but would “miss the close proximity” to her.

Holmes proved once more that she always has her daughter’s back earlier this month when she hopped on Instagram to slam reports that Suri had become a millionaire after her alleged trust fund from Tom “kicked in.”
“Completely false,” she wrote on her Instagram Story atop a Daily Mail article headline.
“Daily mail you can stop making stuff up,” she added.
The same day, she defended herself for speaking up against the rumor.
“In the world today, I don’t want a target on my child’s back. It’s dangerous,” Holmes explained.
Suri has supported her mother as well. For instance, she traveled back to the Big Apple in October for the opening weekend of Holmes’ Broadway show, “Our Town.”
