Kim Kardashian’s Completely Backless Balmain Gown in Gala Photos Is Everything

Kim Kardashian made a daring appearance in a racy gown at the 2025 Fifteen Percent Pledge Gala. On February 1, the SKIMS founder graced the event in a backless black leather gown from Balmain. Styled by Dani Levi, the gown showcased a gorgeous halter neckline and striking chainmail sheer panels. As expected, “The Kardashians” star exuded sensuousness at the star-studded gala, which took place at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles.

Starting February on a risqué note, Kim Kardashian turned heads at the fourth annual Fifteen Percent Pledge Gala in Los Angeles. The businesswoman went completely backless in a black leather gown from Balmain. Apart from the chic halter neckline and sheer chainmail panels, the gown also featured reptilian embossing. The figure-hugging dress fit Kardashian like a glove and appealingly showed off her curves. 

Interestingly, the bodice of the dress looked futuristic as it fell into a fitted skirt that featured see-through chainmail panels around the hemline. The skirt also had a little slit at the back. Kardashian paired the gown with striking black heels with metallic details that almost remained hidden under her gown.

Moreover, the SKNN by Kim founder opted for minimalistic accessories to put the primary focus on the gown. She held a tiny silver purse to go with the gala outfit. For makeup, MUA Ariel went ahead with a full glam look for Kardashian that comprised of defined and bold eyes with voluminous eyelashes, lots of contouring, a pink blush on the cheeks, and a nude brown lip. Lastly, the businesswoman opted for a deep-side part in a sleek bob — courtesy of Chris Appleton.
