As Christmas looms ever closer, Annie Kilner is wishing for a drama-free festive season after her world was turned upside down last year.
On Boxing Day 2023, Lauryn Goodman sent her a bombshell text exposing husband Kyle Walker's cheating scandal and outing him as the father of her second child.
Annie, 33, was said to be "livid and utterly heartbroken" when Lauryn reached out to her, when she was already five months pregnant with her fourth child with the Manchester City defender. Lauryn decided to take matters into her own hands after Kyle refused to tell Annie about their affair.
After a heartbreaking end to her Christmas and New Year, Annie spent months trying to work through her issues with Kyle while pregnant. She ultimately decided the betrayal was too much and in October served him divorce papers.

"Annie and Kyle will be together this Christmas with their kids, but things are still up in the air. Just when they think they are making progress, Lauryn pipes up and causes trouble.
"Annie’s Christmas was ruined last year, and she is determined to enjoy this one, but she is terrified Lauryn will try something else to disrupt their lives. It’s going to be tough," the source told Heat magazine.
But just days before Christmas Day, Lauryn has wound up back in the headlines after reports she attempt to party with a string of England stars.
Kyle's England teammate Jordan Pickford asked security to remove Lauryn from a London bar over the weekend. The goalie's wife, Megan Pickford is friends with Annie Kilner, with The Sun reporting a source had said Jordan didn't realise that some of the shots he had bought for people in the bar had been drunk by Lauryn.
They told the outlet: "Jordan was the life and the soul of the party and was splashing the cash, doing slammer after slammer," the source added, before going on to say: "He made an absolute wonder save in their match against Arsenal so was clearly in the mood for a celebration. Jordan had no idea the shots he bought were drunk by Lauryn. When the players realised she was there, they asked security to move her."

Lauryn's Boxing Day text to Annie wasn't exactly tactful, with the mum-of-two having to see both her kids spending Christmas without their dad. According to The Sun, the message read: “I don’t have two baby daddies - I have one.”
But although the text was harsh, a source also told the outlet in January that it only "confirmed" what Annie already knew, with his behaviour, including buying Lauryn a £2 million house, had "raised suspicions". The two women exchanged "two or three messages" on Boxing Day, according to an insider, with Lauryn sending Annie a photo of Kyle playing with his son Kairo and baby daughter in the park.
The source added: "The ground was shaky already after months of arguments over Lauryn but this was the final straw."
