Fans were teased new music from Oasis this week, with Liam Gallagher having shared his apparent reaction to unreleased songs written by his brother Noel Gallagher.
Liam, 51, and Noel, 57, who last performed together in 2009, are reuniting for the Oasis Live '25 world tour. Oasis will be supported at their gigs in the UK and Ireland next year by fellow band Cast and the Verve's Richard Ashcroft.
Amid updates about the world tour, there's been rumours of new music. Liam's teased over the prospect on X, formerly known as Twitter, in recent months and last week he appeared to share his verdict on songs written by Noel.
One fan asked him ahead of the tour: "What do you think of Noel's new songs he's written for Oasis?" Liam responded to the question by tweeting: "Blown away." His reply on Saturday has amassed hundreds of likes on the platform.
Some fans shared their excitement following the tweet. One wrote: "Can't wait for the album." A second person asked: "When's the new album coming out?" Another said: "I can't wait to hear them." Someone wrote: "AAAAAAHHHH."
Others however questioned if Liam was being serious, with one person reacting: "New album confirmed?" Someone else said: "You're lying?" Another said: "Stop messing with us." Whilst one fan wrote: "I'm starting to believe you if you keep saying that please spill a little bit more."

Last month, a fan asked: "Is it true that Oasis will have a new album???" Liam replied: "Yep it's already finished." And when another fan speculated that an album is "in the air," he said: "It's in the bag mate f**k the air."
There were rumours of potential new music from the band in August following the tour announcement. A source told the Sun at the time that there was potential for Noel to invite his brother Liam to record new music with him.
The source said: "Noel knows the reunion is about the hits but he doesn't want them to be purely a nostalgia act. He has the tunes ready to go and if things continue to work well with Liam then it could be absolutely amazing."
The speculation came after Noel was spotted outside a recording studio in London just days prior following the news of Oasis' highly-awaited reunion. He was however seen at the venue in the city without his bandmate Liam.
