Lindsay Hubbard experienced a “scare” amid her pregnancy that she opened up about on her Instagram Story on Sunday.
As the 38-year-old Summer House cast member showed off her growing baby bump at nine months and revealed how she’s preparing for her daughter’s upcoming arrival, Lindsay, who is expecting her first child with boyfriend Turner Kufe, confirmed she’d been hospitalized on Friday.
In a video shared by Lindsay on November 10, she told her fans and followers she was “starting to Google all the signs of ‘you’re about to go into labor’ after Friday’s scare” before detailing the ordeal.
“Little cub gave us a little scare on Friday. We went in for a routine ultrasound and her heart rate was really, really high. So the doctor at the ultrasound place sent us to the hospital to monitor her heart rate,” Lindsay told her online audience. “Once we were at the hospital, they monitored it for like 45 minutes or so. Totally normal. Normal numbers. So they released us, but good practice run.”
Also in the video, Lindsay offered a look at her baby bump, saying that it’s “still pretty high.”
“I haven’t dropped yet so there’s that. But I don’t know,” she admitted.
In another video, Lindsay shared an additional update, revealing that she and Turner are “getting close” to her due date as she acknowledged the many fans who expressed to feeling that she’s been pregnant for a very long time.
“Tell me about it. [But] the truth of the matter is I didn’t even announce until July 4, which is four months ago. So if you guys think it’s long, there’s a solid four-and-a-half months in there that you didn’t even know about. So trust me, I feel your pain,” she admitted. “But we’re getting close. Little Cubarooney could come any day. Any week. We are like, down to the wire. My belly keeps growing. She’s gaining weight.”
As she and her baby continue to grow, Lindsay has been getting ready to give birth by cutting her nails to be more newborn-friendly and shaving her legs.
“I shaved my legs today, which for anyone who has been pregnant or is pregnant, it is a feat, quite the accomplishment … Bending over is very hard when you’re nine months pregnant … but I feel accomplished,” she noted.
“I’m still checking the last minute everything off my list. We’re pretty prepared, as prepared as you can be, I guess, in a very unpredictable time. So that’s where I’m at,” she added.
Summer House season nine is expected to begin airing on Bravo sometime in early 2025.
