MAFS fans beg Kristina Goodsell to leave husband Kieran Chapman after his shock admission

Married At First Sight fans were left heartbroken for bride Kristina Goodsell after Kieran Chapman told her he wasn't sure if he just saw her as a friend.

Following his admission which left Kristina in tears, fans rushed to social media to beg her to end their relationship. Kieran has been struggling to emotionally connect to the star over recent weeks and even went as far as to blame having a cold sore for their lack of intimacy.

But as the show nears the end, it looked as though Kieran felt forced to come clean as he felt concerned that Kristina was too similar to his ex - putting their future at risk. He said: "I would say I'm not comparing Kristina to my ex, it's hard to not realise 'oh s***' when you realising how similar they are." But Kristina, unwilling to accept his claim, said: "Kieran, I am not your ex. I will move to Newcastle, I will make that work. I have fought for you from day one, we have that fire and electric between us and I don't want to let that go."

In response Kieran said: "There is no one in the world like you and I've never met anyone more apologetic than themselves. I know my head is all over the place at the minute and I know that because I do care about you. You are bringing people's smiles every where you go, I was sitting grinning and thinking this is my wife."

The star admitted that he was in a "grey area" as he had been battling over whether he was in a "friendship" or not. In a previous episode Kristina stormed off after Kieran read out similarities and differences between her and his ex. He then claimed that the only difference between the pair was that Kristina is outgoing.

Fans are now begging Kristina to write "leave" in the next commitment ceremony and get her "self-respect back." Taking to X, one person said: "Kristina needs to tell him to gtf, she needs her self respect back. He’s treating her like a mug. #MAFS." Another wrote: "Think he's always sees himself as the victim #mafs."

A third person said: "Wtf is wrong with Keiran?!? I don't understand his thinking at all. Be happy with her ffs. He's upsetting them both when they could be so happy." Meanwhile a fourth person commented: "Poor Christina - he’s just not the one #MAFS." Kieran's behaviour over the past few weeks is linked to the fact he had been cheated on in previous relationships, which has left him cautious.

But keen to get his relationship back on track, the experts told him to write down his concerns. During his date with Ross and Sacha, Kieran told Kristina: "A wife to me is the cherry on the cake. You put a husband at the top of your priority. Because of what I have been through in life, I will never let my wife be top priority. I'll never let that happen. I wrote down differences with you and my ex. It's scary how similar you actually are. "

He added: "You're outgoing and she wasn't, that's the only difference." Kristina went on to say: "All he has done is relate me to his exes, I am not his ex. I've waited and waited for this boy, I'm at my wits end now. There is only so much I can do."

And it was at this point, the pint-sized reality TV star said: "It is a really s*** position to be in. I feel like s*** because of it but I am not going to lie about it. I've realised that we have fundamental differences. I want to get to final vows and be like "yes" but if I am seeing these differences now, I need to stay true to myself and voice them. This is more of a make or break week, this week."
