Maura Higgins is leaving no stone unturned in preparation for her rumoured appearance on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! later this month.

The Love Island sensation, who may soon dare the rugged terrains of the Australian jungle, took some time to indulge in self-care prior to her flight to Brisbane.

Before saying goodbye to her makeup and luxuries for what might be a lengthy period in the wild, Maura made a beauty pitstop.

The 33 year old beauty was seen embracing a natural look sans makeup as she visited an east London nail salon alongside her close friend and stylist, Carl Bembridge. Maura kept it stylishly simple, wearing her signature dark hair in a chic ponytail which flowed from beneath her designer cap as she treated herself.

The Glow Up Ireland presenter gave her fans a sneak peek into her pampering session with an Instagram Stories post of her pedicure experience, humorously captioning it: "Chicken legs anyone? ? !".

Captured by The Sun, photos show the former Dancing On Ice contestant sporting a black tank top complemented with joggers and a long black coat to brave the chilly spell hitting the nation. Maura rounded off her ensemble with black Ugg boots, a trendy Celine cap, and an elegant Chanel bag as she navigated the city phone in hand, reports the Mirror.

Maura Higgins, the Love Island star, is reportedly making the most of her free time before she embarks on a diet of rice and beans in the jungle.

She was spotted dining out with Carl before she takes on the challenge of ITV's reality show, I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

It's believed that Maura agreed to participate in the show under one strict condition.

Her decision to join the show comes after fellow Love Islander and boxer Tommy Fury withdrew from the programme to concentrate on his upcoming bout with YouTuber KSI. This means there won't be two former Islanders in the jungle simultaneously.

While ITV has remained tight-lipped about the line-up for the forthcoming series, Maura has previously expressed her willingness to take part in the show.

In an interview with Heat magazine, she admitted: "I don't think I'd go well with being in the cold. As hard as that show would be, with all the insects and the heights and everything, I think I'd rather be in a hot country. I mean I'd be petrified to do I'm A Celebrity, I'm no good with anything like that. But obviously it's a massive opportunity. You never know."

This year, rumours suggest that Maura will be joined by controversial TikTok sensation GK Barry real name Grace Keeling, footballer's wife Coleen Rooney, Loose Women panellist Jane Moore, pop singer Tulisa, McFly band member Danny Jones, boxing legend Barry McGuigan, Mick McCarthy, Harry Clark, Richard Arnold and Olympic gymnast Max Whitlock.
