Maura Higgins had nothing but love for Molly-Mae Hague as she penned a four-word message of support following Molly's return to the social sphere after parting ways with Tommy Fury. In the Love Island villa, Maura didn't shy away from setting her sights on Tommy despite his bond with Molly-Mae, yet their friendship has been unbreakable post-show.
The Love Island sweethearts, Molly and Tommy, met back in 2019 on the hit dating series and ended their romance last August, a year and a half after they became parents to Bambi.
Molly-Mae chose to step back from the online world after the split, making a comeback weeks later with an Instagram snap by a lakeside cabin, sporting a relaxed look and thanking her followers with the caption: "Thank you for being the best online friends I could've ever wished for," adding a white heart.

A wave of encouragement washed over her comments section, with pal Maura chiming in: "LOVE and ADORE YOU," along with a matching white heart emoticon. Both Molly and Maura still keep tabs on Tommy via Instagram.
Come evening, Molly returned the favour, echoing Maura's supportive vibe with a four-word kickback while taking a cheeky jab at the latest I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! series. On her Insta story, she spiced things up announcing "the series has begun," implying that the jungle reality show only got interesting with Maura's grand entry into the Aussie wilderness last Thursday, reports the Mirror.
Maura made a dramatic late entrance into the Australian jungle alongside Reverend Richard Coles on Thursday night. As part of their surprise arrival, they were tasked with convincing their fellow campmates that life in the Jungle Junkyard is gruelling - despite enjoying luxury accommodation away from the prying eyes of other celebrities.
For now, Maura and Reverend Coles will remain mostly separate from the other stars, except during challenges, but fans are bracing themselves for what could be an awkward encounter between the former Islander and fellow campmate Barry McGuigan. Prior to her Love Island stint in 2019, Maura was romantically linked with Barry's son Shane.
Before she became a household name on ITV, Maura and Shane were together for a year, meeting when she was working as a ring girl and he was ringside commentating. Following his father's legacy, 36-year-old Shane is now a respected boxing coach with his own gym in South West London, training rising stars like Chantelle Cameron, George Groves, Carl Frampton, and Lee McGregor.
A source spilled the beans to The Sun, saying: "Maura has brains and beauty, and she quickly caught Shane's eye."
However, it seems Maura and Shane's love story was a brief affair, with their busy lives and the miles between them putting a damper on romance. As per the Express, an insider dished: "They went on a few dates and had fun, but Maura lives in Ireland, Shane is running his successful boxing gym in London, and then she was travelling for work so it wasn't easy to pull off," they added: "There were no hard feelings when it ended. It turned out to be short lived and the spark fizzled out."
