Meredith Marks and Angie Katsanevas continue their ongoing feud well into Season 5 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. It seems that the dial never moved on their friendship past strife. The jewelry designer is an original star. And she thinks that prestige may be the reason for the conflict.
The duo made up during a recent RHOSLC episode. But given these comments from Meredith, it seems that the tranquility didn’t last.
Meredith Marks thinks Angie K had issues with her from “day one”
Meredith shared a theory as to why Angie continually has issues with her. The Meredith Marks Caviar founder exclusively told Entertainment Tonight that she thinks Angie is upset that she wasn’t cast with the original group of ladies.
“I think Angie never liked me from before she even came on the show. The only thing I can honestly think of is that she feels like I stole her snowflake because I only live in Park City half the time and I didn’t grow up there and, you know, so she wanted to be on the show from day one and she wasn’t, and I think maybe that upset her,” Meredith said.
The host recalled Angie being very moved with her positioning in the group this season. From a friend of, to center stage.
“She did say she cried when she found out she was the center snowflake this season,” he stated.
Meredith agree, “So I guess it’s really important to her, you know?”
As the interview continued, Meredith reflected on the fight that went down at her bat mitzvah. It’s probably the defining fight between Angie and Meredith this season thus far. Despite it being an issue between Britani Bateman and Angie, the RHOSLC OG star got involved because it was her event. And one that required a more reserved atmosphere.
“The real issue goes back to the original comment of Angie saying to Britani that she was doing three guys when she only said she was dating other people,” Meredith explained.
She continued “I find that personally to be very offensive, because Seth [Marks] and I separated and we dated other people. Very few other people. And it doesn’t mean that I was sleeping with anybody. And these women ran around like I was some kind of whore.”
The topic of slut shaming was very triggering for Meredith. And the two were able to move forward at a cast dinner during the recent episode. Will it last?
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City returns Wednesday, January 8 on Bravo.
