Netflix's Millie Bobby Brown unrecognisable as she stuns fans with Barbie transformation

Millie Bobby Brown made her name in Netflix series Stranger Things as psychokinetic and telepathic main character Eleven - she made her debut when she was just 12 years old

Millie Bobbie Brown has shared her "Barbie" transformation after revealing her new blonde locks, much to the delight of her followers.

The Stranger Things star, 20, who rose to fame as Eleven in the Netflix show, shared a series of snaps on Instagram showing her new look. The actress, who was just 12 when she made her debut in the original series of Stranger Things, got married last year.

Millie, 20, tied the knot last year with Jon Bon Jovi's son Jake Bongiovi, after he popped the question in April 2023. The pair had been dating since 2021, and had their big day in Tuscany, Italy in May 2024.

But Millie's makeover has left her almost unrecognisable, with the star looking incredible in a black midi dress. Fans jumped into the comments section to compliment Millie on her beautiful look, drawing comparisons with Pamela Anderson, Barbie and Britney Spears.

One follower gushed: "Jaw is on the FLOOR," with another adding: "OMG THIS IS E V E R Y T H I N G." A third addied: "Incredibly beautiful, your style is great Mills, you are a star, never stop shining girl, we love you!!"

Millie was recently forced to hit back at trolls who slammed her appearance after she posted a series of mirror selfies in December. The actress, who was born to British parents, shared the images, proudly showing off her engagement and wedding rings.

She held her new Louis Vuitton x Murakami bag as she posed for photos, sharing them with the caption: "Me and my mini me." But amongst the comments complimenting her look, the replies included criticism from some cruel followers.

One wrote: "U look 35 what happened??" Another added: "MILLIE WHAT HAPPENEDDDD,” while another accused her of getting plastic surgery. In response to the unsolicited rudeness, Millie took to her Instagram Stories, simply saying: "Women grow!! Not sorry about it :)”

Meanwhile, Millie has just finished filming the show that she made her name in, with the series wrapping after the fifth and final season. Speaking to entertainment site ComingSoon in March last year, she admitted that she had mixed emotions about the final series.

Millie told the site: "We’re filming right now. And it feels good. It’s obviously our last season. So we’re really excited to be back together again for one last hurrah, but it does feel sad. Every day we go on set we’re like, ‘It’s the last second day,’ ‘It’s the last third day!’"

She added: "But we’re definitely embracing it all. It’s really nice to be back with everyone and of course, the story is unbelievable." The fifth season of Stranger Things will air on Netflix this year, but an exact date has not yet been confirmed by the streaming service.
