A new documentary about the final months of TV presenter Caroline Flack's life will stream on Disney+, with her mother Christine taking a central role.
Former Love Island host Caroline tragically committed suicide at age 40 in February 2020 and the "challenging" new documentary will explore the many "unanswered questions" about the last few months of the presenter's life. Christine will team up again with the makers of the 2021 documentary Caroline Flack: Her Life And Death - Curious Films - to "explore" the end of her daughter's life whilst celebrating her successful career as a presenter of Love Island and The X Factor. The documentary will be called Caroline and will drop on the streaming service later in 2025.
Speaking ahead of the documentary, Christine Flack said: "I still have so many questions about what happened to Caroline in her final months, and it's something I feel deeply compelled to explore, even though I know it will be challenging.

It will also feature interviews with other members of Flack's family and some of her friends. Dov Freedman, the film’s executive producer at Curious Films, said: "It's not often that you feel the need to return to a subject, but nearly five years after Caroline's tragic death, we know there are still many unanswered questions for Christine and her family that need to be addressed.
"We're proud to be collaborating with the Flack family once again, working together to seek some form of resolution to the tragic events surrounding Caroline’s death."
Caroline, who was born in London and grew up in Norfolk, took her own life in February 2020 at the age of 40, after learning that prosecutors were going to press ahead with an assault charge, following an incident with her boyfriend, Lewis Burton, in December 2019.
She was best known for presenting ITV reality show Love Island from 2015 to 2019, and also worked as a presenter on The X Factor, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! NOW! and TMi. In 2014, she won series 12 of Strictly Come Dancing, partnered by professional dancer Pasha Kovalev, achieving a perfect score in the final.
Christine has continuously campaigned since her daughter's death five years ago to get to the truth of what happened in the build-up to Caroline's suicide. A lawyer, Nick Green, has recently claimed that he spoke to the TV presenter shortly before her death and that she seemed "terrified and vulnerable".
Speaking to Mail Online, he said: "I took the call, and instantly recognised the fear and pain in her voice. She was close to tears. I broke the ice by interrupting her. 'Caroline, I must warn you, if you start to cry, I'll put the phone down."
